For a tobacco-free world
I can't believe the ease with which success occurs, whereas previously I had only experienced failure.
A little less pleasure, but more life.
Now, when I watch my friends and my parents fill the ashtrays, I think to myself: they are nuts! I am free, not them.
I am a man happy to quit smoking.
I just went to the school of willpower and it goes beyond the question of quitting smoking.
Now my lungs are going faster than my legs on the football field.
Tobacco does not make man bigger, it decreases him.
No more smells of smoke in the house.
It's easier to quit than to decide to quit.
Life holds many obstacles to our good resolutions. But with the will the obstacles are only illusion.
Fifteen and slavery, five days of weaning, a life of rebirth ...
A difficult ordeal, but what an exhilarating experience!
I quit smoking 10 years ago; I do believe that it is the most beautiful chose that I made in my life.
I am at full altitude. My lungs? A brand new fan! The elastic chest, the light head, I have already rejuvenated.
Quitting smoking isn't just about quitting something. It is the beginning of another chose, the opening of a new page in our life.
Now I really feel free!
According to the WHO, tobacco kills FIVE MILLION innocent victims every year.
Smoking is a real social and global scourge, the No. 1 enemy of public health, the source of countless suffering and illness. It kills (slowly) about 10 times more than road accidents.
Yet it is possible to get rid of tobacco and organize effective tobacco prevention and cessation campaigns.
Bruno Comby has been one of the pioneers in the fight against smoking in Europe for 25 years: he is the author of the n ° 1 smoking cessation book in Europe “How to free yourself from tobacco” and of the first report on the fight against smoking in business in 1985. He participated in the training of trainers in smoking cessation, in the first anti-smoking campaigns, in the drafting of anti-smoking laws, in the first trials against tobacco companies in France. He was one of the main administrators of the National Committee Against Smoking between 1986 and 1998, and one of the first, in the 1980s, to teach prevention and smoking cessation in the Faculty of Medicine.
It is scandalous that even today the tobacco companies continue with impunity to organize marketing campaigns aimed particularly at young people in developing countries!
